The Beaumont Hotel Properties
Built in 1926 to be a garage, this fine Art Deco building hosts The Beaumont since 2014.
Deconstruct have recently completed the demolition and enabling phase of 2 Providence Court as principal contractor on behalf of our client Beaumont Hotel Properties. De Group Contracting has taken over, responsible for the design and construction of shell & core and fit-out works.
Shell & core works composes of envelope and roof, works to create a weather tight building including basement blockwork, cavity drainage waterproofing, and MEP base-build works.
Fit-out works compose of all internal bespoke finishes including joinery, stone, M&E, glazing, decorations, and FF&E.

The project comprised two phases. The first phase included the refurbishment of the ground floor interior of the Beaumont Hotel, the modification of two existing guestrooms and modification to the spa and gym in the basement.
The second phase comprised partial demolition and façade retention of 2 Providence Court, to facilitate the construction of an extension of the five-star Beaumont Hotel. The new building includes a basement, ground floor and five upper floors, providing 29 additional guestrooms wrapped around an internal landscaped courtyard and linked to the new accommodation by corridors at every level.
With a project objective of achieving a BREEAM Very Good rating, the façade has been retained and original 1920s design sympathetically reinstated, ensuring that the hotel keeps its unique external character and remains at one with its environs.
Prior to works commencing, Deconstruct set out a period of time to ensure the neighbourly and environmental aspects of the project were established. With regards to our neighbours, Deconstruct provided newsletters and visits to introduce the Management team. Names and contact details were provided to ensure all communications regarding the works were understood and actioned.
Environmental monitoring was established to ensure the noise, dust and vibration levels would not cause disruption to the neighbouring properties.
The term “topping out” refers to the installation of the final piece of structure; it signifies that the structure has reached its maximum height.
